ABOUT EMMANUEL
Emmanuel Baptist Church is an independent evangelical church that was established in 1932 by two Christian ladies who felt that a place of worship should be established for the growing town, of Sidmouth. The church was built and known locally at 'The Mission Hall'.
Over the years the church has developed and maintained those initial aims, to provide the local community with a place of worship.
The church is now affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (F.I.E.C).

We strive to be a Bible-based, Christ-centred, prayer-driven church. Whether you are just visiting us or looking for a church to belong to, you are welcome to come and worship God and hear from His word with us.
John joined Emmanuel in September 2021, he and his wife (Jayne) returned from Jersey, having spent 21 years there, to Devon in 2020. John committed his life to Jesus in 2009 and was an active member of Jersey Baptist Church as a Deacon and Elder
